Mill Hill Village Cricket Club and Finchley Cricket Club are pleased to announce the details of how parents and guardians can book sessions for the Mill Hill Finches winter training programme, starting this Saturday, February 17.

Mill Hill Finches is a new girls' cricket team for all ages and abilities launched this year, a partnership between Mill Hill Village and Finchley, coached by Anisha Dissanayake (Middlesex women’s team/Sunrisers), pictured above.

Sessions start on February 17 for six consecutive weeks, 4:30pm to 6:30pm, and can be booked via Pitchero. They take place at Henrietta Barnett School in Hampstead Garden Suburb.

Coach Anisha explains: "For those that may be new to Pitchero, it is an app and online platform that groups together all relevant information, messenger services and booking systems in one place. We know many of you may already be signed up on Pitchero through Mill Hill Village, but it will be necessary to also sign up to the Finchley Cricket Club Pitchero account in order to access the booking system."

The Pitchero link to sign up is here.

Once this is done, please head to the Shop section where you will see the tab that says Mill Hill Finches Winter Training Sessions. Within this, there are two options for booking on and payment. There is an option to purchase Pay as you Go type sessions, which are £10 each. The other option is to buy a pack of six sessions, which is £50. This is purely to cover the costs of the venue hire. The Pitchero link is here, but you'll need to have signed in to Pitchero first to access - link for that above.

Anisha adds: "If you would like to bring friends along, they are welcome to come and take part. Try out a new sport and have a whole lot of fun with friends!"
