Mill Hill Village Cricket Club will again be running the England and Wales Cricket Board’s Dynamos programme from August 1, aimed at providing boys and girls aged 8 to 11 a fun-filled experience in cricket.

Each week there will be a focus on a different cricket skill to build your child’s confidence and ability, before youngsters take part in a 60-ball countdown cricket match.

Dynamos Cricket is fully inclusive and will help grow your child's love of the game and will give them the opportunity to socialise and make friends in a safe environment.

Sessions begin at Mill Hill Village Cricket Club on Burtonhole Lane, NW7 on Tuesday August 1 from 5-6pm.

This includes a Dynamos Cricket programme, a personalised New Balance playing shirt, Topps Cricket Attax cards and exclusive access to the Dynamos Cricket app for every player.

Children are also welcome to attend sessions on an ad hoc, pay-and-play basis (£5 per session) for those unable to commit to all six sessions.

Director of Cricket Phil Smith said: “The Dynamos programme is really the only programme that Mill Hill Village Cricket Club runs over the summer months. It always surprises parents when the regular juniors programme ends essentially when the school term ends!

"Dynamos is good for the 8-11 year old kids who want to play a bit more over summer. It’s also good for those who missed out on getting into cricket in the spring/early summer.

“I always encourage kids to play as much cricket as possible and watch as much cricket as possible.
