Selecting the team of the season in Mill Hill Village’s best-ever season in living memory, with all five adult teams winning promotion, has been no easy task.
A selection committee made up of the team captains and our director of cricket chose an XI selected solely from Play-Cricket’s Mill Hill Village MVPs of 2025, comprised of players from our four Saturday adult league sides that compete in the Saracens Herts Cricket Premier League and our new Sunday league 1st XI, who earned promotion from Division 5 of the Middlesex Premier Cricket League. Players not in Play-Cricket's MVP top 20 were not considered for selection for this year's team of the season.
See who made the MHVCC team of the season below. This side is captained by Hamdard Jan Temori (pictured above), who led the 2s to promotion this season while having an impressive time with the ball himself.

Top of the averages
A special mention also to Sam Smith, who topped the Division 4B bowling averages and came second in that league’s batting averages. Smith, who has been at the heart of the 1st XI's title-winning season, earned a double prize haul at our annual awards presentation last month: Voted Player of the Season by his teammates, he also claimed the Best Batsman award after topping the run-scoring charts.
How does this team compare to 2024's?
Only four players from last year's team of the season made it into this season's best XI. See how our 2025 team of the year compares with last year's here.
