First XI fast bowler Ali Javed’s took 6-42 to register the most impressive bowling figures in 2023, becoming the only MHVCC bowler to claim a six-wicket haul this campaign.
Seam-up bowler Javed’s standout performance came away at Bayford & Hertford CC 1st XI on June 24 in an eight-wicket win.

Overall, Javed (pictured above, standing third from right) took 13 wickets in his 52.0 overs bowling at an economy rate of 4.44 with an impressive strike rate of 24.00 at an average of 17.77.
